Pipestone Lake is a true haven for fishing and outdoor enthusiasts alike. 30 miles long by 1.5 miles wide, up to 120 feet deep, with hundreds of miles of shorelines, the lake is home to an abundance of Northern Pike, Small & Large Mouth Bass, Lake Trout, Walleyes, and Muskies.
The adventure doesn't stop there – boat caches on additional excellent fishing lakes surround Pipestone and are available to you.

Walleye
Trophy walleye fishing at its finest. Pipestone Lake is renowned for producing exceptional walleye, with fish regularly exceeding 25 inches.
Muskie

Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass

Fish Management
At Pipestone Lodge, we take fish management seriously to ensure the sustainability and health of the lake's ecosystem for future generations. Although we promote catch-and-release techniques, our guests are welcome to keep their legal limit.

Fishing Regulations
Pipestone Lake is located in Fisheries Management Zone 5. Please review the current regulations before your trip.
Ontario Fishing Regulations - Zone 5
Sport Fishing License (S) & Conservation Fishing License (C)
Walleye
Season: 3rd Saturday in May to Dec. 1st
Daily Catch & Retain: S-2, C-2; not more than 1 between 18" and 22"
Possession: S-4, C-2; not more than 1 between 18" and 22"
Camp Rule: No walleye over 22" to be harvested
Northern Pike
Season: Open all year
Limits: S-4, C-2; none greater than 29.5"
Muskellunge (Muskie)
Season: 3rd Saturday in June to Dec. 15th
Limits: S-1 (must be greater than 40.2"), C-0
Camp Rule: No Muskellunge are to be harvested
Lake Trout
Season: Jan 1st to Sept 30
Daily Catch & Retain: S-1, C-1; no size limit
Possession: S-2 (not more than 1 greater than 22" from Sept 1-30), C-1; no size limit
Large & Smallmouth Bass (Combined)
Season: Open all year
Limits: S-4, C-2; must be less than 13.75" from Jan 1 to June 30th
