Pipestone Lodge
We're Corey and Keri — a husband-and-wife team with deep roots in Northwestern Ontario and a shared love for its wild, peaceful beauty.
We both grew up spending summers on the water. Corey worked at fishing lodges as a teenager, while Keri explored the lakes, camped under open skies, and collected minnows and tadpoles as childhood "pets." Life took us in different directions for a while — Corey headed west to hit the slopes of the Rockies and eventually trained as a dive master in Southeast Asia before returning to Dryden. Keri lived and studied across Canada and abroad, then built her career as an educator.
No matter where we went, the pull of Northwestern Ontario — and the lifestyle we grew up with — always drew us home.
The Weekend That Changed Everything
We met again in 2010, renovated a small cabin into our first home, and quickly realized we made a pretty great adventure team. Before long, we started dreaming bigger. For three years, we searched for the perfect opportunity to combine our love of the outdoors, fishing, and welcoming people into the wilderness we care so much about.
Then one weekend, while exploring the Pipestone–Clearwater chain, we learned that Art and Jenny — the longtime owners of Pipestone Lodge — were considering retirement. We quite literally jumped in a boat and headed straight to the lodge to introduce ourselves.
One conversation led to many more, and with each visit the island felt more and more like the place we were meant to be.
Continuing a Legacy, Building Something New
Today, we're honoured to continue Art and Jenny's legacy while bringing our own fresh ideas and energy to the lodge.
Our vision is simple: protect what makes Pipestone so special — its peace, charm, and natural beauty — while adding thoughtful upgrades to cabins, equipment, trails, and the overall guest experience.
