Welcome to Pipestone Fishing Lodge, your home
away from home. Our small resort consists of eight cabins edged
along the shores of the crystal clear waters of Pipestone Lake.
The focal point of activity at least twice a day is our dining room
where you will be served delicious home prepared meals. Most of
our guests prefer to stay out on the lake and enjoy shore lunch
at noon of fresh fried fish prepared by themselves or our Pipestone
Lodge guides.

Imagine a lake that is chuck full of fat Small mouth & Largemouth
Bass, trophy Walleye, vicious Northern Pike and monster Lake Trout.
Imagine a lake where the next world record Muskie swims. Unique
to Canada, the Pipestone Lake System is among the only handful of
lakes in the world that support this kind of fishery. It's a veritable
Crackerjack Box of fish, where a 3 lb. Small mouth exploding on
your Pop R could trigger a secondary explosion from a 5 foot Muskie
halfway to the boat. Hold on to your hat and reel like hell!
Pipestone Lake is unique because of its location, size and depth. This is not your average flatland walleye pond surrounded by scrub pine. With its many islands, countless bays, inlets, rocky points and reefs, Pipestone offers unsurpassed possibilities: top water for bass in the morning, downrig for Lake Trout in the afternoon, work the reefs in the evening for Walleye ... And always be ready for those battleship-size Muskie! Located at 49 degrees North, it's on the edge of the Boreal Forest, a more temperate zone that can support a wide variety of flora and fauna ... And fish! Pipestone's crystal clean waters are encased by granite bluffs, tall stands of Red Pine, White Pine, Fir Cedar, Poplar and Birch. You'll share the lake with Moose, Deer, Black Bear, Beaver and Otter. A bird watcher's delight, Pipestone has a wide variety of waterfowl & shore birds including an incredible population of Loons and Bald Eagles.
Cabin Accommodations - Pipestone Fishing Lodge
cabins are clean and comfortable , winterized and heated for cool
nights. Completely equipped for light house keeping if you prefer
to do your own cooking. Our cabins have showers and flush toilets.
We do have cabins with two bedrooms for those of you who like privacy.
We also have two cabins that will sleep up to eight people. Maid
service daily for our American Plan guests.
Pipestone Lake is separate from Clearwater Lake
which is where we pick you up. There is a mechanical
portage about half way to our lodge on Pipestone
Lake. This mechanical flatbed car comes down into
the water, you pull your boat onto it and it pulls
you onto Pipestone Lake. Don’t fear about any damage
to your boat because I take my 22’ boat across this
portage about 15 times a week.
